When detecting leaks, Ted will do every means possible to locate the problem.
Ted starts off with a basic leak detection using dye to check the points most susceptible to leaks. Once the leak is located Ted will advise the homeowner where the leak is located and offer a proposal to repair the leak. Ted is equipped with sonar equipment which will allow Ted to locate the exact location under the pool deck if a plumbing pipe is leaking. This allows for a more accurate repair.
Our Leak Detections are quaranteed. If Ted can not locate the leak there is no charge for the leak detection. Exception to this is if it is determined that the water loss is caused from normal evaporation. If this is found to be the cause of the water loss Ted will be specific and show the homeowner as well. Normal evaporation is approximately 1/8" a day.
